Horizonte Instruction & Training Center
Provides 4 hours of English classes and 4 hours of work per day. English Class is only an option at the Horizonte Instruction and Training Center. There is a 2 hour test to diagnose English level.

BYU Pathway provides college certificates and degrees to anyone. Courses are $81 per credit with scholarships available.
Pioneer Park Community Resource Center
12 week English class program in Provo. Fill out the form to register for the semester or to be on the waitlist for the next semester.
English program in West Jordan offering beginning, intermediate, and advanced level classes to adults of any nationality. Tuition is $25 for each session and $25 for textbook/workbook combo (charged once per school year). Each session is approximately 12 weeks.
Provides educational resources & tutoring for low-income, first-generational high school kids. Only a select number of participating high schools. Apply online.
West Valley City English Initiative
Provides a comprehensive list of English classes in the area.
Free English classes - T,W 9:30-12 & 6-8:30. Levels 1-5. Childcare is provided.
$20-$50 English classes in various locations. Childcare available.

Horizonte Instruction & Training Center
Provides 4 hours English classes and 4 hours work per day. They also teach driving and subsidize job placement. Must have a referral from CCS, IRC or DWS to sign up, in which case they are paid $10/hr for four hours of work because their rent is already paid for. Or if they are referred by their local Bishop, they are paid for 8 hrs of work because rent is not being paid for. Placement in trades afterwards.
40 week coding program with 20 weeks being a paid internship. 100% job placement at the end. Free tuition through the Refugee Services Center.

Provides job-search assistance, workshops, and hiring events. Contact Solomon Awan, Connections Supervisor, at 385-499-6043 for more information. Workforce Services also provides training. Apply online under ‘Career and Education Assistance.’ The review process takes 45 days and then people are able to enroll in the program.
MaxImpact provides a “fast track to employment” program for refugees. Has English and vocational training. Fill out the form online for more information.

Anyone who has not had Xfinity for past 3 months, is not in debt to Xfinity and is on public assistance can get internet for free through the website. Go online and apply by uploading ID and proof of assistance. Approval response in 3-4 days with a time to go out and connect/set-up.

Free urgent care/medical clinic providing a variety of services. Request an appointment online or call for same-day services.
Salt Lake Donated Dental Services
Provides free or discounted dental services. Offices in SLC, Kaysville, and Provo. Must show income to meet requirements. Call 801-972-2747 for appointments, no walk-ins available.

Emergency dental clinic in Ogden & Centerville that is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Fee for service so they don't accept insurance and costs are paid at the appointment. 801-215-9464

Tabitha's Way Local Food Pantry
Provides food for families. Families can place a standing order and pick up every two weeks. If you volunteer on 2nd and 4th Fridays, they give away Costco prepared meals they can't keep over the weekend.
Community Action Services & Food Bank
Food Bank that gives food to food pantries across Utah. See website for locations & times. Families have to fill out an intake form and the food bank asks for ID. They also provide rental assistance, warming centers, and financial classes.

Provo Bike Collective restores old bikes and teaches how to care for them.
Provide family reunification & therapy.
