Pakistan has been hit with devastating floods all summer long, resulting in the deaths of more than 1,000 people, in addition to widespread destruction. Millions of people in the country are displaced without food, water, or shelter. Nearly all of the country’s crops and livestock, along with stores of wheat have been affected, prompting warnings of a looming food crisis. Five years ago, in Calais, France, the French government demolished “The Jungle,” a densely-populated refugee camp that became emblematic of Europe’s insufficient response to a growing crisis. Today, there are an estimated 2,000 refugees still living in the area, including roughly 300 unaccompanied children. They live on the streets and in the surrounding forests. Our aid supplies will help meet the immediate needs of these refugees stuck in limbo.

A massive volcanic eruption followed by a devastating tsunami affected more than 80% of the 100,000+ residents of the small island of Tonga. Water supplies were contaminated and the island’s only communication system connected with the outside world was disabled.
